Product built. Pilots on the road. 75,000 TND of EU-funded backing already secured.
Sheapit is the smart freight exchange for Tunisian road transport: shippers post loads, carriers bid, every job is tracked and insured to the door, and half-full trucks and empty return trips get filled. Here is exactly where we stand, with no inflated numbers.
Half full to Sfax, empty back to Tunis. Fuel, tolls, time and CO2 lost on both legs.
Traction at a glance
We are pre-revenue by design: the product had to be complete and validated in the field before charging carriers. The commercial launch starts in 2027.
Shipments on the platform
The number we steer by: shipments completed on Sheapit, each one a load matched to a truck. It drives revenue (commission per job) and the empty kilometres we remove. Drivers and companies signed up are a means, not the goal.
Pilot shipments run with owner-drivers, not yet billed.
VAIR funding agreement, 70% non-repayable grant. Funded by the EU.
Web platform and driver mobile app complete, 4 roles, 4 languages.
Routing, loads on route, capacity check, document reading, matching.
Pre-revenue. First commissions planned for 2027.
